Miss Liz is the epitome of supportive, and she has the family atmosphere that allows children and parents to feel right at home. This was particularly important to us because we were extremely nervous about sending our daughter to a day care. Liz took our daughter in with open arms and helped ease our fears. Our daughter began with this amazing daycare at 11 months. Liz has kept us informed and we knew what our daughter did, ate and learnt every day. We are very sad it has come to an end due to our move to different city. It’s been 3 months and we still couldn’t find a daycare that is even closer to Discovery Hut. Hands down this is one of the best daycare in East Bay. Thank you so much Liz for all the love and knowledge you have shared with our daughter.

Best Family DC Ever!!! The owner Ms. Liz is currently taking care of 3 kiddos including Edward. She is doing such a good job! Edward receives organic food from her everyday, he learns so much about dancing, reading and painting… He’s always surrounded by music and other indoor/outdoor activities. Ms. Liz is super fun and patient, she’s both responsible and responsive. I receive photos, videos and messages from her all day long through brightwheel app. Whenever I have any questions, she gets back to me with solutions and answers right away. I really appreciate her! Edward is so lucky to have her around. I’d love to meet other lovely parents and kiddos there.

The Discovery Hut is a true gem. The director, Liz Graham, is an expert in all things related to childhood development and she has thought of every single detail associated with running her daycare smoothly. I can’t possibly describe all of reasons why I love Liz and The Discovery Hut, otherwise this review would be a thesis. Here are a few examples — she works hard to foster a playful environment, her activities always have some sort of element related to childhood development, she makes delicious food for the kids every day (I’ve been copying what she does at home), and she sends detailed updates (and pictures and videos!) throughout the day. Personally, Liz is super easy to communicate with. She is funny, kind, and loving. I feel so lucky that our son gets to hang with her every day!

Our son has been going to the Discovery hut full time for the past couple of months. He is absolutely in love with Ms Liz and has developed such cute connections with the other kids there. My wife and I are thrilled we found a daycare we feel great about. We wish we could be with our son all the time, but we can tell TDH feels like a second home to him. He learns so much there, but the best part is all the pictures we get throughout the day that make us feel like we’re right there with him. Thank you Ms Liz!
